A 330 gallon used IBC tote is the full-size caged container sold as returned from service, with no rinse step added. Buyers choose it to store the most liquid per pallet position at the leanest preparation level, then handle cleaning and lot review on their own terms.

This is the workhorse size. The 330 gallon caged tote measures approximately 48 × 40 inches at the base and about 53 inches tall, and it weighs about 150 lb empty. It is typically an HDPE inner bottle in a galvanized steel tubular cage on a steel, plastic or composite pallet that takes forks or a pallet jack, with a top fill cap (commonly 6 inches) and a bottom discharge valve (commonly 2 inches).
"Used" on this site means exactly what it says: the tote is sold as it came back from service. Previous contents vary by lot, nothing has been rinsed for you, and the price reflects that. Your side of the deal is reviewing lot history and photos, and cleaning to suit your use. For the full range at this capacity, see 330 gallon IBC totes; for as-returned stock in both sizes, see used IBC totes.
Most buyers who order used totes by the dozen are thinking in pallet positions, trailer space and gallons stored. The 330 wins on all three when height is available:
| Planning factor | 330 gallon used | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Gallons per pallet position | 330 | 55 more gallons than a 275 on a similar footprint |
| Height | About 53 in | Needs more overhead clearance and a step or platform for top access |
| Empty weight | About 150 lb | Plan on mechanical handling rather than hand-walking |
| Preparation | As returned from service | Lowest prep level; you clean and inspect |
For a site that needs, say, a fixed amount of stored water, fewer 330s do the job than 275s, which means fewer valves to plumb, fewer units to inspect and less floor to give up. The 275 vs 330 gallon comparison lays out the trade-offs in more detail.
Irrigation reserves and livestock water banks where more gallons per tote means fewer refill trips. See agriculture and irrigation.
Holding compatible process liquids, rinse water or waste streams in racked or floor-stacked rows. See industrial process storage.
Buyers who clean, refit and redeploy totes and want the most common full-size format as raw stock.

Versus 330 reconditioned: the 330 gallon reconditioned IBC tote is the same container after rinsing and inspection. Pay for that step when your crew cannot clean on site, or when the tote goes straight into a residue-sensitive job.
Versus 275 used: the 275 gallon used IBC tote stands about 7 inches shorter and is roughly 15 lb lighter. Pick it when clearance, pickup beds or top-fill reach are the limit rather than floor area.
A 330 gallon IBC tote for sale in volume ships most efficiently by full truckload, about 60 totes, quoted individually to your site. Smaller orders go LTL, quoted to your ZIP, and quantity pricing tiers lower the per-tote price as you add units. Pickup by arrangement is available at our Pennsville, NJ and Tampa, FL yards. Have a forklift or loading dock ready; at about 150 lb and 53 inches tall, these are awkward to hand-load.
Have totes you no longer need? We also buy them; see sell your IBC totes.
Give us the size, condition, grade, quantity, what you will store and the delivery ZIP through the quote request form, or call 484-787-7479. Availability, price and the exact lot are confirmed with your quote.
Approximately 48 by 40 inches at the base and about 53 inches tall, with an empty weight of about 150 lb. Cage style, pallet type and valve can vary within a lot, so exact unit details are confirmed with your quote. Ask for current photos if specific dimensions are critical to your space.
Start by confirming previous contents, since that determines the right cleaning method and whether the tote suits your use. Drain fully through the bottom valve, rinse through the top opening with a method compatible with the old contents, then inspect the interior. If you lack wash capacity, consider reconditioned totes instead.
Used totes are sold as returned from service with no rinsing or inspection step added, so there is less work in each unit. Reconditioned totes have been rinsed and inspected, and some lots have component work. Exact pricing depends on quantity, grade and the lot, and is confirmed with your quote.
Yes. Self-pickup works by arrangement at either yard, Pennsville, New Jersey or Tampa, Florida. Let us know the count and your vehicle in advance so we can confirm stock and set a loading time; we load with a forklift, and each tote needs a full pallet space and plenty of height.
